- Employment reference letters on letterhead with role, dates, hours/week, salary, roof plumbing duties.

ANZSCO 334115 task focus
Reference letters must show at least 65% time on roof plumbing work:
- Metal roofing installation — Colorbond, Zincalume, Stratco, Lysaght — corrugated, Trimdek, Klip-Lok, standing seam.
- Eaves / box / valley gutter installation.
- Downpipe installation.
- Flashings — chimneys, dormers, skylights, parapet walls, vents.
- Sarking / vapour barrier installation.
- Ridge / hip / valley capping.
- Rainwater tank installation — connection to downpipes, overflow.
- AS 1562 (Design and Installation of Sheet Roof and Wall Cladding) compliance.
- Cyclonic-zone roof fixing — for North Queensland / NT.
Useful certifications
- Certificate III in Plumbing (Roof Plumbing) — Australian Cert III.
- State plumber / roof plumbing licence — VBA, NSW Fair Trading, QBCC, PLB WA.
- White Card (CPCCWHS1001) — mandatory.
- Working at Heights — essential.
- EWP (Elevated Work Platform) — for boom / scissor lifts.

TRA OSA doesn't directly require English. Home Affairs requires Competent English.
